My name is Pekka Huovinen and I'm a composer and producer from Northern Finland. I run a small garage studio Ör Ör Sound where I mostly produce my various projects but also do audio work on-demand. I've been in various bands since the mid 90's and started recording in the early 2000's. I have my degree in arts (audiovisual media) from the University of Lappland.
For the longest time I kept music as a very passionate hobby but after joining Taxi in 2025 realized it could well be my job, too. I have all the skills and tools to make this happen and I'm ready to give it my all. I'm not here to sprint, I'm in for the marathon. Balancing my time between my dayjob, freelance photographing and music production is not going to be easy but I have to work it out so one day I can drop the dayjob out of the equation. It's not happening tomorrow but it's going to happen.
