Why so worried? It's gonna be fine!
My name is Pekka Huovinen and I'm a production music composer and producer from Northern Finland. I run a small garage studio Ör Ör Sound where I mostly produce my various projects but also do audio work on-demand. I've been in various bands since the mid 90's and started recording in the early 2000's. I have my degree in arts (audiovisual media) from the University of Lappland.
For the longest time I kept music as a very passionate hobby but after joining Taxi in 2025 I realized it could well be my job, too. I have all the skills and tools to make this happen and I'm ready to give it my all. I'm not here to sprint, I'm in for the marathon. That's why I also decided to take part in the Taxi Road Rally ´25 and it was very much worth the trip! I met some wonderful people and gained a lot of valuable information there. For now I'm balancing my time between my family, a dayjob and production music but I'm doing everything to make the sync slice bigger.
I work almost exclusively on real instruments (drums, percussion, guitars, bass and synth) and I never use loops (that means _never_) or uncleared samples. I do of course use virtual instruments for all orchestral elements and the more obscure synthesizers.
